21 and unfortunately not getting any younger, I am looking to take a step up in my career with a digital marketing apprenticeship. Marketing has always been an interest of mine, especially the creative aspect of it, and I am hoping to learn more to help broaden my horizons within the industry.

Art is something all people do in childhood; I just never stopped. It is a skill that constantly develops and changes over the years, and my art has matured alongside me.

The basics of visual advertisements are all founded in art. Colour, composition, and style are key to drawing people's attention, and when done well can really set a brand apart.

My interest in graphic design was kicked off during secondary school, when our computing teacher set aside time every Friday to let us use photoshop for a bit of fun.

In any kind of marketing, graphic design is the biggest communication tool a business has with its audience, whether it be logos, banners, or posters.

I have been an amateur photographer since I was 15, when my Dad gave me his old bridge camera to use on a school art trip.

Photographs are often the base for many advertisements, whether it be product images or assets used to create edited images.

Growing up on early Disney and Don Bluth films sparked an interest in film and videography from an early age, specifically animation.

​

Within digital marketing video has become a medium of choice for many advertisers, as video sharing platforms such as Youtube and Tiktok have boomed in popularity.
